Looks fab! I love the Pom Pom things above to cot! I notice you have a day bed in there, what are your thoughts behind that, for when baby is having a restless night? My husband wants us to keep ours in baby's room but I'm not sure if we'd use it. Yours looks better than ours as it's much lower x
Yeah, we thought the daybed would be good for when baby is having a bad night. My hubby works long days and it's not fair to keep him up at night so when baby goes into his nursery if need be I could sleep in the nursery with the LO when needed.
It also has a trundle underneath that pulls out and lifts up to make it into a large double which would be handy if we ever need a guest bed. My sis and bro in law live away with their two LO's. I've said if they ever want to stay their two LO's could share the day bed and they can use the sofa bed we have downstairs.
Hopefully we'll not need to use it much but I'm glad we've got it just in case! x
This is a great idea. My LO is ten months and, having slept brilliantly until seven months old, the last three months have been a bit hit and miss, and, especially during the really hard nights (5/6 times waking!) I have had to give in and go against all my 'Mummy' rules and take him into the spare room to sleep with me, so OH can sleep properly (as he obvs has to get up and then do a full day at work) and I can actually get some rest too as LO will then sleep when cuddled. We recently moved a sofa bed into his nursery for this reason and removed the nursing chair I was using. Nursery looks gorgeous btw! Xxxxxx
