So, I've still been having a bit of a nosey on here but I haven't posted much the past few weeks or kept up to date as much as I did before.

I've had a rough few weeks, I was made redundant and all the stresses and worries that come with that had got a little too much for me. I just felt I needed to take a step back and as much as this forum doesn't add to my stress in anyway, I just needed a change in routine I think. I've also been suffering with SPD a lot, I'm measuring 38 weeks at 32 due to polyhidramnios, which just makes my SPD even worse as my bump is so heavy!

So, I spent a few days feeling sorry for myself and then kicked myself into gear and have got a lot done.

Nursery is done and we're so pleased with it, I can now relax and I don't mind so much if baby ends up coming early! (which I've been told is likely with polyhidramnios)

I haven't been able to do much of the hard work, which in itself is frustrating as myself and Hubby usually do all the decorating together but he's worked so hard! Bless him.

Anyway, here's a few pics of our little man's nursery. I know most of us like a nosey at nurseries. Feel free to add your pics too! I love nursery pics :)

Oh Jen its lush!

Sorry to hear u have had a tough time. Hopefully things will be on the up from now xx

Love it! I'm stuck with exactly what to do with our room at the minute I'm hoping once we put the furniture together I'll be inspired and then it'll all come together! If it's anything like yours I'll be a happy bunny :)

What a lovely nursery! Sorry you've been having a rough time Jen x

Great nursery. Love the reading corner you've set up.

That's lovely! So colourful!

What are those things on the ceiling above the changing table? Love them!!!

Looks fab! I love the Pom Pom things above to cot! I notice you have a day bed in there, what are your thoughts behind that, for when baby is having a restless night? My husband wants us to keep ours in baby's room but I'm not sure if we'd use it. Yours looks better than ours as it's much lower x

Yeah, we thought the daybed would be good for when baby is having a bad night. My hubby works long days and it's not fair to keep him up at night so when baby goes into his nursery if need be I could sleep in the nursery with the LO when needed.

It also has a trundle underneath that pulls out and lifts up to make it into a large double which would be handy if we ever need a guest bed. My sis and bro in law live away with their two LO's. I've said if they ever want to stay their two LO's could share the day bed and they can use the sofa bed we have downstairs.

Hopefully we'll not need to use it much but I'm glad we've got it just in case! x

This is a great idea. My LO is ten months and, having slept brilliantly until seven months old, the last three months have been a bit hit and miss, and, especially during the really hard nights (5/6 times waking!) I have had to give in and go against all my 'Mummy' rules and take him into the spare room to sleep with me, so OH can sleep properly (as he obvs has to get up and then do a full day at work) and I can actually get some rest too as LO will then sleep when cuddled. We recently moved a sofa bed into his nursery for this reason and removed the nursing chair I was using. Nursery looks gorgeous btw! Xxxxxx
