Hello All

Hoping for a bit of advice - I want to buy one of those rocking chairs with a stool that reclines for the nursery. I decided first just to look at all the models and pick the one I liked best, but when the Dutailier jamie Recliner was piced at £485.00 I thought I might shop around... It looks amazing and has all the features I'd like but seems really expensive when you think about all the other things I'll have to buy...

Does anyone have any experience with these chairs? I've seen Hauck and Cosatto ones which are a lot cheaper but I'm not sure what I'll be giving up in quality... Any advice?

Thanks

We had a brief discussion about these in NCT this morning, teacher recons although great to rock in and just fuss or rest that some of them are really hard to actually feed baby in. I wanted to get one but now I'm not so sure they are a wise investment. Might think of an alternative?

i have one from kiddicare and I absolutely love love love it!! It is sooooo comfy and great to feed teej in, we bottle feed and i rest my arm on the arm and it takes a lot of strain off my arm as he is getting quite heavy now!! I would definitely reccommend one especcially for the nighty night feeds!!

Thanks Guys

missac, which one did you get from Kiddicare? I'm swaying towards the Cosatto one now as it looks great and is about half the price of the Dutailier one...

wow thats a bargain M..i was given a nirmal ricking chair and i love it when i sit in it but as its in the nursery don't use it much..i like to feed him in bed at night then i can watch Tv keeps me awake.

we do all of Teejy night feeds in it and I read to him in it at his bedtime it is great!! You will probably use your rocker once Dylan is in the nursery.

Hey hon

We've got this one

its really great to feed in, I've been using it for months now and its ever so comfy too. Am still breastfeeding and give my girl her last feed at 7pm in her room, in the dark whilst sitting in the chair. This really helps her to recognise its time for bed.

Try a few of the chairs out before you buy one. We brought everything from John Lewis and spent a small fortune but I refused to pay the extortionate amount they were charging for the feeding chairs. One of my friends has a feeding chair from Mothercare

and she says its really comfy and easy to feed in.

Hope you find what you are looking for.
