can anyone tell me what they pay to have sky + ?
we have the full package of sky & i think its about £42 per month, how much extra would it be, i am desperate for sky + !!!

£43.50 a month, we have Sky+ and the digital channels. That includes our broadband subscription also. I'd look into why your paying £42 for just regular Sky! xx

really OMG

Thats what I said...

You don't pay an extra subscription chargeto have the sky plus, you just need a different set top box (and a second cable running from your sky dish). So they might charge you for the box, or they might charge you for installation of the second cable.

Phone them and ask!

sorry  !!!
just rang sky & they can't discuss it with me as its in my husbands

name
thing is he won't ring up i don't think, coz he doesn't want it coz he says it will be more money!!!!! :wall:

Any chance the subscription fee comes from your bank account?? Or is listed on their bills as coming from your account even if it's joint? They have to speak to you if that's the case, they deal with me as although the bills/subscription etc is in my hubbys name the bill is paid from my account and therefore legally your entitled to the same account information.

Oh but if it's a joint account but still in hubbys name on their direct debit thingy then they won't discuss it with you either.

Go onto the Sky website, print out the "packages" page and show hubby that, there is no price difference. He might call up then??

And another thing...I'm waffling but should your old sky box ACCIDENTLY break, I mean ours, poor thing ended up with coca-cola inside it?? How did that happen?? They usually replace them free of charge - they would rather give you a new box than loose your custom type thing, failing that if you pay house contents insurance something like an "accidental" spill over the box will be covered and they will pay sky to give you a new one, might as well upgrade at the same time right?!

aah, well the direct debit is from my account, it is only in my name!!!!

LOL at the accident thing!!! we don't have accidental damage :(
