Notice period while on maternity leave

I originally chose to take 7 months maternity leave, however I've decided to take 9 months now, so in a few weeks I will be sending my notice to work to extend it.
I'm extending it so i've got a bit more time to decide if I actually want to go back at all, cos the thought of leaving Noah is horrible

Few questions I need checking cos I'm not completely sure.

If I give them the correct amount of notice when quitting my job, do they have to pay me my normal wage during this period? If so, what happens with maternity allowance? Do I get this aswell as my normal wage or not? I'm confused !

U should still get the same amount if going back or not! I think if u don't give them enough notice they can ask u to pay it back!
