Figured I might as well jump in on this name-jobbie.

So, we think Caleb, for a first name, and we've been happy with that for weeks.

The problem is the surname.

I'm thinking Pilgrim-Clarke, but OH is not overly keen on double-barrel.
My solution to this is for his middle name to then be Pilgrim.

Basically, either :

Caleb Pilgrim-Clarke or
Caleb Pilgrim Clarke.

Either way, he'll typically be Caleb Clarke... I just want my family name in there as he is my son, and I'm the last in my family line.

I'm not considering any other middle name. Either my name, or none as a double-barrel surname is, I think, enough.

Thanks ladies :) x

I would personally use it as a middle name as it will still be part of him and still have a meaning but not be too long as a surname. I like it. X

I also think Pilgrim as a middle name, it's nice and unusual - think it's a bit of a mouthful double-barreled :D
