not sure on strawberries...

I gave Kai pureed Strawberries just now and he was kind of gagging on them a bit, first time he has ever done that...prob will wait a few months before trying again, a little surprised at that.

have you tried him with them just cut in half. I find Seren gags less on new foods if she has them in chunks she can handle and suck on.

I agree with Beanie, I give Ella them whole and she devours them (messily I might add!)

I just don't think Kai was that keen on it tbh which surprised me as that was one thing I was looking forward to giving him.

Sometimes I give him half a banana mashed up, he has this fine and then the other half I cut up and he tries eating it in the highchair. He is ok with this, I gave him half a strawberry after the puree and he was just looking at it in a weird way, not interested, held it a little but that was it.

I normally likes most things apart from avocado.

I tired Ella with strawberry too, it was VERY messy, she had a bit of it but didnt eat much, but it was a start.

I found that Ella gagged on carrots whereas she is fine eating other things such as rice cakes and toast ect. Maybe he didnt like it or just big off too much?

Id try him again next week and see if you get the same reaction

I also give them to Kiara whole or at times in chunks she never chokes? maybe he just aint ready yet try again in a few weeks.
