not such a good weekend

Bit of a stressful weekend for us both. Friday night ended up in the emergency dept for the night as I was experiencing cramps, like a period pain but worse. At least they confirmed the pregnancy but said that I could be possibly having a m/c or ectopic preg. Went back this am for blood test so they can check the hormone level and have an ultrasound this afternoon to check where the little bub has decided to plant itself.
No bleeding and the cramping has eased off so we are both crossing our fingers that all will be ok. Get blood results in a couple of hours.

A week later and daily visits to the hospital for blood tests, scans etc. Got another visit tomorrow for an ultrasound. Blood tests have been promising showing my hcg doubling every 48 hours so that is good. Scan tomorrow is to check where the sac is resting - they couldn't see anything on the last scan.
Feeling much better - thanks so much for all your well wishes. Will keep you updated

scan showed a gestational sac that shows I am 4 w 6 d pregnant, in the right place! All that worry of the past week. Dr now says to just relax and have another scan in a few weeks to check everything is moving along smoothly.
Am so pleased
