Nose Bleeds

Hi All!

Have any of you suffered nose bleeds? Last week I would wake up and blow my nose and it would be dried blood but this week I am getting nose bleeds everyday! It's awful!

Is it normal or should I check up on it?!?!

I am a few weeks behind you but I also have dried blood when I blow my nose. Hope it doesnt turn to nose bleeds, they BORE me!!

I think it is normal as your nostrals get more sensitive in pregnancy and you get bunged up easier. But if you are worried dont take my advise call the midwife..... I will check your post incase you find out something.

I read that it's common to get nose bleeds or to start snoring from the second trimester onwards because of the increase in progestorone in your body.

My sister has been suffering with nose bleeds and I've been snoring like mad!!!

It is very common. I had nose bleeds right the way through both pregnancys and it stopped as soon as they were born.

i don't get heavy nose bleeds but my nose is always full of dried blood in the mornings and when i blow through the day i get blood clots.... i spoke to the MD about it.. she said our noses get dryer due to hormones... whenour nasal passage is dry it becomes extra sensitive!!! she told me to drink more.. whcih seems to be the answer for everything.. head ache - drink more! constipated - drink more! she also said working on computers can dry out your nasal passage.. how - i don't know!!!!
