Im Bee, 29 and from N. Ireland (north coast). Im 20wks into my first pregnancy and getting more excited (and bigger) each day!

hi im from ni, portadown, were are you from, im 6 wks 6 days pg after losing my 3 mth old son in march. im very worried about hospitals here. were are you going?

Sorry to hear about the loss of your son, sending lots of hugs ur way (((((HUGS))))) but congrats too on the bump I'll be going to Causeway Hosp in Coleraine, seems quite good, well from what iv seen of the maternity ward (just a lil tour) but I'll hold off on any huge praise yet cos so far i have not been impressed by the health service here for other things :-s

Hi im new here too, im a first time mum to b2. im 11 weeks.
Having babs in The Jublille, (The Royal) as i now live in belfast, i go for my first scan on thursday so really looking forward to that as i hope to actually feel pregnant after it!
Im originally from the coleraine area and think that the causeway is a good hospital and has a good maternity unit, its just a little bit far for me!

alisarose, so sorry about your sonl! it must be very hard for you, best of luck with everything x

From general experience (not maternity) the causeway hospital has a better level of care (ie nursing staff) but the hospitals in belfast are better equipped.
