No midwives...

I think I am def going to be 14 weeks or more before I get my scan
Rang the Docs today to see if any update re my Midwife booking in appt, they just told me to ring her (if only they bloody told me that 2 weeks ago!) so I called her and she's on hols until 24 Jan... So I rang the hospital & they gave me another Midwifes number but she is on sick leave... So I called again and got a third number... But I don't think this midwife is on duty until next week! Grrrrr! I will def be into Feb before seeing the poppy seed I'm gutted as I've already got MIL ringing every other day saying she's desperate for us to tell everyone... Hope I hear something soon. Wish I could afford a private scan... X

Thats crap hun! Lets hope they manage to squeeze you in...if not then least it won't be as big of a gap from your 12 week and 20 week...as it drags in lolxx

I know! My mum said as long as feel fine and am having no probs/complications, then try not to stress, and I guess she's right I'm just so impatient! And reluctant to tell people until I see poppy seeds heartbeat and know everything is ok! Stupid NHS, they are so shite around here... X

its a pain when you cant get n touch with midwives and sort things out at least if you have a date your not so much up in the air. my midwife is on maternity leave infact she went on it when i was pregnant with my last baby we were bothdue days apart, so we get stand in midwives from different areas, then for 3 weeks the center is closed where we see the midwife luckily enough i haven;t had to see the midwife in these weeks but my friend has nd she's had to go up to the hospital fr appointment with a midwife which is a pain. I hope you get a date soon, when i had my 1st 2 you only got a 20 week scan unless they thought multiple or were really unsure of dates. so much better now.

This is it, I just feel so up in the air! Bet I'm waiting for another 2 weeks before I hear a peep, I may have to turn into pregnant crazy lady and just keep ringing them... x
