So im pretty sure i had CP (3 faint positives followed by negatives 2 days later) i started spotting brown on the 13th july this spotting lasted till the 26th july so 13 days. Do i count the first day of my next cycle as the 27th the day the spotting stopped or from the 13th when it started? Im so confused! TIA xx

Hi enya, sorry to hear about your mc. I'd treat the first day of full bleeding as CD1 x

Yes, spotting doesn't count. It first day of red flow as CD1. If it's in the evening then the next day is CD1. If you aren't bleeding properly at all then it might be worth seeing your GP for further tests.

Ive not had any fresh blood at all. Just the 13days of brown spotting. That ended 12days ago last actual bleed was 14th june. I just have no clue where i am in my cycle. If the spotting doesn't count then im on CD 54?! But ive had positive tests followed by negative during that time :( x

I did some OPKs over the weekend and for a minute it looked like i was headed for O but they have gone back to defo neg! So stressful xx

Annoyingly your cycles can be skewed after any loss. But I wouldn't say you're on day 54 as I wouldn't count your last normal af as you've had a pg in between then. I'd perhaps go have a chat with your GP? xx

GPs round here ate absolute crap! Their advice will be to wait for AF and that like u said cycle can be out of sorts after any loss. They aren't very helpful with TTC. Infact when i got pregnant with my eldest the docotr told me i was a silly girl and asked me what i was going to do about it! I guess i will just keep doing the OPKs see if i can see a definite positive and wait till AF shows up :( x

Jesus that's awful!! Don't blame you for staying away. It's so frustrating but yeah I agree you'll have to just persevere. Fx for you x
