Good god, nobody told me quite how horrid the last week or so of pregnancy really is

I seem to be on the loo 3-4 times per day and have projectile vomiting daily until about lunchtime (worse than the early morning sickness). I either sleep till 1am then am wide awake ...... or sleep so heavily it feels like ive been in bed for years and years. I'm snapping at DH and then end up crying. Walking is extra uncomfortable, as is sitting anywhere but on my gym ball.

On top of this, bubs' movements are so big they make me cry, as does the thought of actually giving birth right now
I am so worried about it all, i just want bubs and me to be fine and healthy and for this to be over now.

I know ive only got 3 days to go till induction time but this really is worse than waiting for ..... well....... Christmas or something :shakehead:

anyone else feeling this rotten ?? :x

I wish I was only on the toilet 3-4 times a day. I'm going every hour through the day and I'm going 3-4 times at night while trying to sleep. Sometimes it makes me wonder where all that liquid is coming from through the night :?
I find that I get my best sleep from 8am until about 10am (don't know why), and I've got indigestion, heartburn and on and off nausea yet again. I've lost count of how many times a day I catch vomit in my mouth :puke: (sorry .. TMI!).

At least you only have a few days left. I hope things ease for you in the meantime .. I can understand how you are feeling.

The only time I was like that was the night I went into labour (or I was in labour but didn't know)

Good luck!

thanks - the toilet thing would be fine if it was only 3-4 times per day, but thats just for no. 2's (TMI sorry)
Feeling grotty an fed up :wall: :?

I've been through 2 weeks with lots of number 2s and I was starting to think that the end was near but now I've reverted back to being constipated and have absolutely no labour signs so am thinking that my body (and this baby) wants to go on for another 40 weeks being pregnant. Sorry .. TMI again

Oh hun I can sympathise, I feel like a whale at the moment, and can no longer hardly haul myself off the sofa in an evening. I find that the sofa is just not comfortable anymore, whether I lie, sit, or stretch out - its just so uncomfortable, and end up in bed by 9pm ish just to get comfy - then like you though I cant sleep til gone 1am........

I pee like its going out of fashion......at least 10-15 times through the day, and another 5-7 times through the night, I am constantly obsessed with ice cubes and get through 30-40 cubes a day on average!!

Im not so bad in the morning - once my joints have had time to loosen up, so find this is the best time to get out with the dog for an hour, but come about 3pm and my body goes into shut down!

Havent had any problems with vomiting and hoping I avoid this one (I have managed to avoid sickness so far during this pregnancy so heres hoping :D )

Just think not long now.............I only have another 4.5 weeks of this :(

Lots of

Aw no  all round.

I remember feeling like that- it sucked :(. This being my second pregnancy it makes the rest of it seem a lot easier than I thought it was last time remembering what those last few weeks were like because I keep thinking, I'm not that huge yet and I'm not at that point of hating all of this yet either so I'm not moaning! I thought I'd be pregnant forever and I only went three days over! I so clearly remember lying in bed when Elliott was fast asleep next to me in hospital and just feeling my tummy and thinking- yippee! I also remember the joy at dropping something on the floor and being able to pick it up by bending at the waist, and also looking at the huge stash of Rennies I'd packed which I didn't need to eat!

Your days will come- you're nearly there!

am feeling the same!! trying to get comfy on the sofa is impossible, its worst when getting up or sitting down, eel like someones kicked me right in the lady grdn!!! dont no if thats pressure of bubs or not but its bloomin sore..cant say the bum constantly in the ribs is very comfortable either.!!

 ing things happen soon. xx

A woman's body is an amazing thing, I had totally forgotten how painful it was at the end of a pregnancy too!! But :D at Rosebay's comments, it took me ages just getting some socks and boots on yesterday as I felt I couldnt bend over without cutting off my airsupply!! :D :D One day soon I too may be able to pick things up and get dressed without the assistance of my husband :D :D

Lisa  I'm right with you about the late afternoon/evening thing, I drive everyone mad just wandering around the house sighing..... my 19 year old son actually told me yesterday to pull myself together!! He should try having all his vital organs pushed in the size of a match box!!!

 to all you ladies due any day - hopefully your time will soon come and all those horrible aches and pains will be replaced with the most amazing little one in your arms :D

Jane x
