I had a midwife appointment on thursday and she mentioned a antenatal/ birthing class- however she said they only run them on the first saturday of the month ( so would only have a maximum of 2 to go to) and they are always full so I would would probably not get a place and wrote the number in my notes. Also that they recommend that you go with your partner, well that cant happen for me as he has to work weekends alternate days/ nights so I would be on my own so would look a right loner.

I rang up when I got home to be told that they are fully booked for november and december so there are no spaces. What was the point in telling me then?:wall2:

If they knew this was going to happen why wait til this far on before telling me about them, I only have 10 wks left with xmas and new year thrown in. Idiots, yet another reason for me to have no faith in them.

That's really rubbish hun. Sometimes they're a bit pants at letting you know things eh?

Mine are every Monday for 6 weeks but OH won't be able to come to them, so I'll be on my lonesome.

xx

I was told at my booking in appointment at 8 weeks that my nearest class was full! There were other nhs classes available in the city but my OH wouldn't be able to come due to timings. Are there any other nhs classes you could go to? Ours are run through the childrens centres it might be worth giving them a call if you have any in your local area.

In the end we decided to go for NCT classes are these available near you? They can be expensive but I've been told they're worth it x
