Hiya,

I used to have several piercings - most have now gone. I took my nipple piercing out about 7 years ago and I had had it for about 5 years. However I have noticed - and I apologise for tmi - a tiny bit of leakage from the old hole on the side. Is this going to affect my ability to breast feed? Did anyone else have this type of piercing and did it affect breast feeding at all? As in, was it difficult or did it make it hut more?

Sigh - I expect someone older and wiser warned me about this when i had it done but at 19 I really didn't care!!

Any advice gratefully received.

i had my nipple pierced about a year before i fell pg with my first, i took it out when i found out i was pg.
i breast fed all mine for a couple of months with no problems at all, so im sure it will be fine. i remember the leakage from the hole in pregnancy.
