Hi there everyone. I am 25 years and TTC, been married 3 months now.
I had my last Depo Jab in Dec 2010, had no period yet but have been spotting for the last week. So excited now as hope my body is getting back to normal, starting to use opks everyday due to not having had a proper perid yet, any advice for me ladies? :help:

Welcome to the forum, I know a few ladies on here have had the depo injections and are now ttc. So hopefully they can help u out xx

Hello and welcome!

I am new also!

I've not been on Depo but I am TTC!

I'm sure lots of people here will have lots of advice for you.

x

Hello and welcome to PF  you will find most people here are very well informed ;)

My main advice would be to wait for your first period to arrive, and then start using OPK's from day 9 of your cycle. Use them after lunch, and don't drink too much beforehand - to avoid diluting your wee :)

Best of luck with TTC x

Hi Hana I'm 25 as well and trying for my second, I was on the jab too until may then the pill, doctor tells me it could take a year for my body to be back to normal :( periods have been regular though so that's a good sign, friends of mine have had no trouble conceiving once coming off it so I'm clinging on to that!

 Welcome to PF

Having read quite a few posts now, it seems to take ladies a while to settle after depo, but hoping you get a speedy BFP :)

I'm now bleeding again!! Hopefully this is me getting back to normal!!

Hi Hana,

I finished my depo ion march and had no af for 5 months.

Had light spotting for 19 days then nothing fot a week. I got "proper" AF on thurs and it has been completely normal.

So all in all it has taken me 5 months.

Depo really does mess up your body thou. It can take anywhere upto a year, Damned injection!!

Sounds like you are gettin back to normal now thou, so FX for you hun :)
