Ive been thinking the last few days what it will be like to meet someone knew after being a single mum for so long.
my sister met her new fella when her twins were only 3 months old, and i feel lke shouting, WELL IVE ONLY GOT ONE CHILD WHY CANT I MEET SOMEONE :rotfl: but then I remembered you actually need to have a life and go out to meet people

So when it eventually happens, (if it does... cos the way my body is now i wouldn't touch it with a barge pole if i could help it!), is it exciting?
i love the new days of a relationship where you are all giddy and can't wait to see him again, and being joined at the hip etc.... is it the same when you have a kid?
do you enjoy it as much? or do you think, 'im a mum now, i have to behave!'

and
What's it like when you first sleep with someone new after being a single mum?
do you enjoy it or are you constantly thinking of your LO (i know that sounds just plain wrong but you know what i mean lol)
I am happy now being just me and leah but i am so excited for the future too, i wanna know everything

Im jus enjoyin havin a flirt tbh, the amount of guys txin me is no bad thing (5 at last count  ) but im in no hurry to get into a relationship

Yes it is just as exciting...more so infact because you can't spend all your time together joined at the hip so what time you do spend together is magical and you tend to do more.

And no you don't think of your LO when you sleep with someone for the first time. You just do... you worry abit in the sense of being burnt before and having a child from it... but otherwise it is just like before.

I took my time in introducing Tia to my DH when we first met. I felt that it was important that if she was going to meet a new father figure that I had to be sure that he was going to be sticking around for a while this time. We had been going out for several months before they met and many more after before DH moved in.

Actually the weirdest thing is when you start living as a family. Its simple, easy and normal in the beginning.
