Nesting?

Hi am due to move over here on Sunday but thought I'd ask an early question...

Is nesting for real? Have all of you ladies had it and if so, at what stage does it kick in?

I am in need of some major nesting - my flat is a mess and needs a good scrub but I'm so knackered from full time work!! Am hoping nesting will kick in at some point and I'll be able to sort everything out! xx

for real it kicks in!! ive had it the past 2 months lol! got into like 30 something weeks and it kicked in a lot. Lately ive had the wierdest urge to get everything done so i have literally done everything from washing all new clothes to setting up the moses basket with blankets and all! its the wierdest thing. im a messy housekeeper usually but lately NO ive had to clean everything! my house is spotless! x

Thanks Lexi - oooh I hope I get it!!! I'm not a great lover of housework, I keep my place clean cause I have to.....but generally just do the bare minimum! Could really do with some energy and enthusiasm to give the place a good going over!! xx

I was feeling the same knackerd all the time and that and only just started getting the nesting instinct about a week or two ago so theres time yeet for it to kick in some people get it earlier than others

I don't think it's nesting as such as it's probably too early for that but I lay awake all night last night in a state of worry that I haven't started the nursery! I have this urge to get all the blankets and babygrows washed and put away, but have nowhere to put them yet! This is causing me all sorts of stress! Haha!! X

Im still waiting!

Ive got everything ready and all is prepared for the baby...but still got an ironing pile and need to get the washing basket empty again.....having little spurts of energy but the fatigue stops me a lot of the time anyway so I dont want to hit a burn out just to have an empty basket then be in bed for days so as long as little legs is sorted the washing and ironing can wait lol xx

I had a major nesting session before Xmas when I had a big burst of energy but thats disappeared now!!

I am however very stressed that the nursery is not finished ad I have babies stuff washed but the wardrobe isnt done so I have nowhere to put it!!!
