Nesting.....Anyone??

Ive just turned 32 weeks, and my nesting has kicked in. Was wondering if anyone else is nesting and when you started?

This is my 3rd baby, and with my previous pregnancy i started nesting at 30 weeks and went into labor at 36 weeks.

I've definitely been bitten by it, I've cleaned things I've never before cleaned and am driven to improve my house - we've decorated the nursery and got a new carpet, re-decorated our bedroom and got new carpets, got new lino for bathroom, shower room and kitchen, re-painted kitchen and re-done all glossing. And I'm like cleaning Hitler haha.

When did it start for you?

Ive found myself scrubbing the stairs carpet (daily) by hand for the past few days. The walls and woodwork been washed down, bathrooms painted, hired a carpet cleaner in the nice weather to get the carpets all spruced up.

I've not really started nesting yet but I have started knitting things for the baby and I've never knit in my life! Just felt the motherly urge to create something for my little bub!!!

I wish I could start nesting!

I can't even hoover the living room without my butt and hips aching for 2 days! So annoying! lol x

Well its hard to tell as with my 1st pregnancy I moved into a new house at 30wks pregnant, and went into labourt at 33wks. I don't know if I was nesting as it was a new house and you tend to clean it from top to bottom anyway! X

The desire for things to be done kicked in around 30 weeks, and the starting to actually do things came in around 33 weeks I reckon. At first I more wanted other people to be doing things for me but now I want to be getting stuff done myself

I keep laughing at my friends who like to inform me (constantly) that labor is near due to nesting - is it really a sign?? Hmmm.

I would like to keep little one in a few more weeks yet

Well it hasn't been a sign for me! People tell you all sorts of crap when you're pregnant, I'm sure it's just cos they want to have something to say rather than any actual knowledge.
