Nervous tummy!

Does anyone else get a dodgy tummy before fertility appointments? I do every time, its so annoying!

It was today! Tummy is fine now its over! It went well! He kept going on about my advanced age (!) but said the test results are excellent in spite of it! Starting clomid next cycle and then move on to IUI or IVF.
We are finally getting somewhere!

Yay for getting somewhere! Boo to being of advanced age....! Bloody cheek eh?! I get nervous tummy before any docs/dentist type appointment, hate it! I'm fully expecting to get one before fertility appts too! X

Hope so! When are you starting yours? I get my prescription next week so hope to start at the end of next week after AF arrives!

Can I ask why they are giving you chlomid though if all your results have come back good? xx

My 21 day progesterone was borderline and the consultant believes its an 'annovulatory' or low result. I told him I usually get positive OPKs but not every month. So its just to boost ovulation really and make sure it happens every time.

Probably not for another month or two - waiting on the referral letter from the new hospital (the one that doesn't charge for scans) so depends when that will be.

Is your hospital doing tracking scans?

Its the private clinic, the course costs £450 but apparently I will only need 1 or 2 scans for clomid, not the whole course as you'd need for IVF.
Hope your referral doesn't take too long!

Mine is also £450 if I continue at the one where it's not nhs funded. How come you've gone private (if you don't mind me asking)?

Since TTC for over 2 years I have now passed the age threshold for free treatment in our area unfortunately.
