Hi Ladies,
This post is not to do with pregnancy, but I've had a crappy day so I needed to vent.
The day started off badly when I woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep. Then, me and OH were discussing our dining room table and how it needs replacing cos we only had 1 proper dining room chair and that was on it's way out cos it was ancient along with the table. OH said he wasn't going to buy a new table until the old one had been collected. So I rang the council who wouldn't pick it up because it was glass. Then I rang a waste collection company who said they'd pick it up within the hour for £25 which is what the council would charge us. So they came and took the table.
OH and I then went to look for our new table, only to find out that it's going to be 10 weeks until they can deliver our new table. Then OH pipes up that he needs a table to do his work on. I had to bite my tongue as it was because of him that I got the table collected today. I text my Dad to ask if we could borrow his camping table and arranged to go and collect it. Just before I was leaving home to get the camping table, I asked OH to help me as I needed to put oil in my car and I can never get the oil cap off. OH came out and took the cap off only to drop it into the engine! Spent the next hour trying and failing to get the cap out. In the end had to ring the AA, and pay £91 to get homestart added to my cover. The AA man turned up, loosened 2 screws on my car, pulled the cap out and that was that! Cannot believe I am £91 in the hole and OH never said sorry to me, yet when I accidentally knocked his I Phone onto the floor I was accused of doing it on purpose to get him back for the oil cap. I'm still angry now!
