need some of your fab advice

Hi,

I came off the pill back in may when i got married and since then ive had some very irregular cycles which i did understand could happen but after 6 months i thought it mite have got itself a little more regular!!

What is really worrying me tho is that since coming off the pill ive had very bad skin(spots and looking greasy not a good look!)and its a bit embrassing but my hair has got darker all over my body under arms, legs and on my upper lip which as you can imagine is very embrassing indeed!! Ive always had this problem but on the pill it wasnt too bad i just bleached it every now and again but now its like every other week.

Anyone else have this prob?? Or no if its just the hormones? or is it something else.

Orrr don't be embarrassed, its good we can all be open and honest about stuff on here! It sounds to me like its your hormones regulating themselves, I wouldn't worry hun x x

ooooo now u mention is im finding im having to shave a bit more often than wen i was on the pill (either that or im subconciously making more effort to intice DH to BD more often lol)

but yes since coming off the pill i have also become more spotty etc

my cycles are irregular too, hense cd 59 today xxxx

Hi,

I have also experience alot more spots, can't say I've noticed having to shave more though.

I didn't have a period for 2months when I came off the pill, was on it for 9 years. I then got pregnant (without knowing due to no periods previously), had mc at 8 weeks & then didn't get a period for 7months. Was on cycle day 63 yesterday & got my period today.

I have recently started taking Agnus Castus & lots of vitamins & they are supposed to help regulate periods. They at also supposed to give u good skin & I have notice the difference.

ooo glad u got ur af hun after having such a long cycle, means you can get back on te horse (excuse the pun)
CD 59 for me and still no sign lol i came off pill in july after being on it for 10 years, 1st cycle 36 days, 2nd cycle 37 days, still on 3rd cycle tho xxx

Thanks for all your replies was worried to share but as usual im feeling a bit better now, sorry to hear that u still havent seen af yet bellarina what a nitemare fx for that she will b along soon!!

Im on cd32 now and am too scared to test as im so irregular n dont want to see a bfn. I think i will go see doc in new year if no bfp as i have a week off with hubby and think it will put my mind at ease esp as i already have health issues(fibromyalgia)and a postive ANA meaning my immune system likes to attack itself so would like to get things looked into.

I think you may have PCOS hunny by the sounds of how your body is behaving off the pill. I'd mention to your doctor about the hair and spots hun x

Hi ya welcome to pf! I agree with miss crazy cooki hon it sounds like some if the symptoms of pcos. Why dont you have a Google and it and see if there are any other symptoms you have. I would not worry though as the bad skin could ber your hormones regulating themselves. I don't have pcos but my skin has not been great since coming off the pill so bad skin does not mean pcos. There are lots if girls on here who can give you advice so never worry about what you post. I have learnt so much being on this forum and the girls are lovely. Love gizzy xxx

Hey hun, I've had mega spots siince coming off pill didn't think u still cud at 26, but if ur worried go to ur gp, hopefully the can give u some answers xx

Hi I came off the pill about a year ago and since that date my skin has been terrible lots of spots. This was a new thing for me as I never had spots then off the pill and bamb it was horrible.

I became so down that I went to the doctor and got some stuff to put on my face and it has helped loads, plus safe to use when ttc and when pregnant (if I ever get my bfp!)

Thanks everyone, i have googled it and its not looking good is it!!!

Im on cd 32 now and have no idea when af is guna cum but have a feeling she will soon. Im guna defo go to the docs in jan when i have a week off with my hubby if im not pg by then. Thanks for all the advice i feel happier just to have shared it all with you and no sum of you are in the same boat so thank you.
