I've been trying to give LO some calpol as she's got a bad cold. She won't take it off the spoon, spits it out from a syringe. We tried giving it in a teat which worked once but now she's refusing that! I don't know what else to do

Can't really help as my LO wont take calpol so we use baby nurofen which she takes from the syringe fine x

It's very frustrating. If LO is bottle feeding you might also want to try giving a bit of a bottle, a bit of the medicine, then a bit of the bottle etc, and when I say a bit I mean a really tiny bit at a time, better to have a hellish 15 minutes now IYKWIM. I've bought one of those dummy medicine syringes too but have yet to test it touch wood!!

You could dunk her dummy in it, pour the dose into a pot and coat the dummy. Or would she suck it off your finger? Quite often Albert spits out his infacol so I coat his dummy in it

Hope she's better soon xxxxxxxx

She doesn't have a dummy. I tried doing it with a bottle and she's just having none of it. Haven't tried my finger. Could give that a go
