I'm currently doing a photography project on mothers for my photography degree and i am in desperate need to some answers to some questions! I would be eternally grateful if you could help me out. The questions are aimed at younger mothers but all response welcome. Thank you
Age:
1. What makes a good mother?
2. Have you faced any stigma because of your age? If yes, has anyone made comments or actions towards you (if so what were they)?
3. How would you describe yourself as a mother?
4. Is there anything you wish you could have done before having a child? If yes, what was it?
5. Would you ever recommend having a child at your age to other people? Why?
6. How do you think young mothers are portrayed in the media?
7. Do you feel that Tv coverage showing young mothers is detrimental? (eg. Vicky Pollard/Little Britain)
8. Do you feel younger mothers (under 25) have the life skills necessary to look after children in comparison with an older mother?
9. Given the choice would you rather be considered a younger mother or older mother and why?
