Oh my goodness i worked in a chemist a few years back but for the life of me i cant remember if they are safe to take while pregnant so id ask the gp or ring the chemist and ask them they will be happy to tell you
Not sure I can help but just wanted to say that i took co-codamol once...and never again!
It made me really trippy...I felt like I was falling through the earth I couldnt walk (or even stand) and I cried for 3 hours! I would def check with the doc. It might be fine...I think i must have been allergic or something!?
No codeine is not safe to take while pregnant! While pregnant my doc told me to only take Paracetamol!
I mean you could ask your doc to make sure but codeine is such a powerful drug I wouldnt risk it at all!
And Sally12! The same thing happens to me!!
no - I was told that it can affect even the earliest foetus - I'm only allowed paracetomol unless its during AF or in the 10 days after. I don't really know why - I was in too much pain to ask I have to admit to days when I'm wishing AF would arrive just so I can take some - unfortunatly for my condition I also can't take the tablets that would minimise the pain as they would also affect brain dvelopment
