Oh my goodness i worked in a chemist a few years back but for the life of me i cant remember if they are safe to take while pregnant so id ask the gp or ring the chemist and ask them they will be happy to tell you

i would personally not take anything until checking with GP. Too risky x x x check with the doctor hun x

hey there

Not sure I can help but just wanted to say that i took co-codamol once...and never again!

It made me really trippy...I felt like I was falling through the earth  I couldnt walk (or even stand) and I cried for 3 hours! I would def check with the doc. It might be fine...I think i must have been allergic or something!?

No codeine is not safe to take while pregnant! While pregnant my doc told me to only take Paracetamol!
I mean you could ask your doc to make sure but codeine is such a powerful drug I wouldnt risk it at all!
And Sally12! The same thing happens to me!!

no - I was told that it can affect even the earliest foetus - I'm only allowed paracetomol unless its during AF or in the 10 days after. I don't really know why - I was in too much pain to ask :? I have to admit to days when I'm wishing AF would arrive just so I can take some - unfortunatly for my condition I also can't take the tablets that would minimise the pain as they would also affect brain dvelopment
