Nearly 20 weeks and not feeling movement

With my two boys I felt movement a lot earlier than this.

Is anyone else still not feeling baby move?

My 20'week scan isn't until 20th July x

It might be to do with the position of your placenta. Depending on where it is you can't really feel movement. I felt much earlier this time than I did with my son. As at your scan and mention you haven't felt anything xx

I'm the same second baby and not felt anything yet it's worrying when they say supposed to feel earlier, I have a home doppler so can hear the heartbeat when need to for re-assurance

I don't have a home Doppler so can't check. Think I might phone midwife. X

I haven't had any movement yet, just over 18 weeks. I had an anterior placenta with my previous pregnancy and didn't feel anything until 24 weeks. Saying that, this is really niggling away at me this time I don't have a Doppler but I don't trust them so that's why X

A work colleague told me she never felt her daughter move and she didn't have anterior placenta either!

My placenta is anterior and I was told I wouldn't feel anything until at least 20 weeks or maybe not at all

Felt first daughter from 15 weeks, this one has been since 20/21 weeks.

Yesterday and today I've been hearing bubble noises and the odd movement. Not sure if that's the baby lol x

Sounds like it is nat!! I've had some movement but nothing for a couple of days. Feeling anxious but have 20wk scan this aft so fx x

Thanks Nat all was ok, phew! He was all over the place during scan and I still have felt nothing so I'm confident you're having the same issue as me. They are trying to wind us up! Did you ever call your MW? What date is your scan? x

Aw that's great. Nah I didn't, I have been feeling some more movement today. Not strong but definetly movement. My scan is on Thursday. Feels ages away x

I know the feeling, today went 3 times as slow at work! It'll be here soon enough and fx you'll get some good prods in the mean time. Have you tried the lucozade/chocolate approach?! X

Yeah we'll have tried the chocolate. Pretty sure it's her moving. Hoping it gets stronger soon ��

Shouldn't have energy drinks when pregnant can be dangerous

Lisa you can have lucozade when pregnant so long as you are still within the recommended caffeine intake. It's what they used to give to you for the GTT test for example.

NO ideas on names yet Nat! Have you? Found it easy with my lb but not this time! X

We like the name Lacey for her.

We already have Logan and Aiden.

Really can't wait any longer for my 20 week scan. Thursday can come quick enough. Then next Thursday I find out my date for the section.

I find boys names hard to choose x
