As the title says really...I've had nausea for a few weeks now but haven't actually thrown up yet (although the dry heaving is keeping me busy). I felt amazing over the Easter weekend and now 11+1 and I feel SO bad 24/7 - it's waking me up at night. I thought it was meant to ease off around this time not get worse? Is this normal?

Hi kj,
Mine only started at almost 10 weeks and I thought it had gotten better recently but I've been feeling rotten for a few days now, was sick 2 days ago before dinner and then again this morning, and feeling nauseas full-time in-between. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it (well, I'm sure there is a reason lol).
My app tells me it should get better from 14 weeks if not already so we better hang in there. x

It’s soooo bad, I’m at work and I just can’t concentrate at all :( I hope it gets better in the coming weeks...

Just to be the bearer of bad news. With my first I was sick at least once a day from 6 weeks to 26 weeks. Really hope urs improves soon.

I’m 12+5 and my nausea is still going strong! After making our announcement yesterday many friends have told me they didn’t feel better until 16 weeks so I think it varies. No two pregnancies are the same so we just have to roll with it. I’ve been awake since 5am dry heaving, but after my scan yesterday it’s not getting me down. I find eating when it peaks helps me, but when I eat this early I then want a 2nd breakfast 😂

Mine started at 4 weeks, was horrific between 6-8 weeks where I was pretty much bedridden with it, and it tailed off at about 9/10 weeks....I've been sick once since then and it was a real sprint-to-the-loo job, came from nowhere. I found it was worse when my sense of smell was most heightened, as soon as things started to smell normal again the sickness waned. I still have the odd moment, though.

And of course we can't win, because instead of feeling happy and relieved that my sickness was abating, I worried that it meant something was wrong with the baby!! Only after having my 12 week scan today do I feel a bit better about it all.

So don't worry, the sickness will pass for you, just got to ride it out. I felt like mine would never end but it did, and pretty abruptly too. Take care.xxx

Thanks guys! Weirdly I’ve felt my absolute best today with no symptoms whatsoever...although I had my 12 week scan this morning so think I might just be on a bit of a high which has taken my mind off of things! Hoping they’re gone for good now...

My app says it can get worse at 11 weeks. Poor you!
