Naughty...

Hope you manage to relax today

I wouldn't worry too much about work, if you don't feel up to it you shouldn't go in

At least you got dressed!
I decided that if it was sore to walk to the toilet this morning I was not going to work - I couldn't face all the standing, going up and down stairs and carrying things. And it hurt to walk so I called in to say I wouldn't be in today and I'll call them this afternoon to let them know if I might be in tomorrow. I'm still in bed  And I plan on staying in bed most the day, though I will go for a walk to see if moving around eases things a bit.

Been to see the doctor and without hardly any explanation he has given me a sick note for 2 weeks.

I don't know whether to have 2 weeks off though

:cheer: :cheer: Yay! Take the two weeks off, the rest will do you good. You and your baby are more important than work :D

I work in a supermarket and the customers really wind me up these days, especially the old people who refuse any help with their packing, so I have to scan as slowly as possible whilst they mess around with the carrier bags, then they moan at me for scanning too fast...all this with 4 people in the cue behind them :x

I don't envy you - I would end up losing my rag with them :D

I say enjoy your 2 weeks off :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

The doctor wouldn't sign you off for that amount of time if they didn't think you needed it

I hate it when they do that, and when they only pack a few items in one bag. :wall: I hated it when i worked in the supermarket on checkouts so i dont envy you at all.

Hope you feel better soon Emma and put your feet up and take it easy

After my maternity leave finishes I'm hoping to find a new job in administration, which is my usual way of gaining pennies. I miss sitting in front of a computer with a cup of coffee and the girly office banter

That's what I used to do :D and I quite enjoyed it but I must admit I enjoy what I do now even though working with teenagers can really test your patience.

Rest well! Take the 2 weeks (assuming you get sick pay) after all, soon you won't get any rest at all :D
