My little boy 21 months has recently been pretty naughty if I'm been honest! Kicks and throws stuff occasionally hits things and sometimes people..
I'm not sure what it is but he is very clever for his age for instance, he can say his alphabet to M without help and counts to 14 he knows his colours, shapes, and symbols such as minus and plus he's been able to jump for ages and jumps off all sorts can throw a ball over and under arm, and draws circles!
He's known his colours and letters for a good 3-4 months and if I say A is for.. He will name something that begins with A, he can do this all the way to Z.
He knows animals and even remembers his stories and knows every page to 'going on a bear hunt' I'm not saying he reads by the way but he can recognise from the pictures and then says the words. He can strong words together like saying "what colour is.."

I'm not sure if his behaviour is related to any of this, but was wondering if anyone else is having similar issues!!?

Pre stage of terrible two's I reckon.. Nothing to do with how clever or not your kid is..

The main thing is to keep gently reminding him what he should do.

If he throws something he shouldn't, calmly say "xxx isn't for throwing. If you want to throw you can throw this ball" (or another acceptable object) or "We don't throw indoors, if you want to throw we need to go outside" etc
If it's out of frustration, acknowledge his feelings eg "You're upset about xxx, but we must not throw things, it could hurt someone or break something/get broken" etc.

Same with hitting "Please don't hit, hitting hurts. Gentle hands" etc.
