Nasty Nappy Rash - Please Advise!!!

Jude has got a horrible nappy rash, was fine yesterday morning but by the afternoon was bit red and by bedtime I was so shocked, bum was red in patches and looked very slightly weepy. I smothered his bum in Bepanthen before bed.

This morning it's no worse except for 3 or 4 tiny spots of blood. Am realy upset, not sure what to do. He's got nappy off for now, letting the air to it.

Any advice??? Should he go to the doctor? It doesn't seem to be bothering him?

Awwww poor little man. When Jake gets a nasty nappy rash I only use cottonwool and warm water to clean his bum and pat it dry with cotton wool. I dont put anything on it either and I try to air it as much as possible. Although he hasnt had it as badly as you describe.

I've made a post just like this.. Keeley had nappy rash for about 10days but hers isn't weepy. i have used
*Sudocream
*Vaseline
*Zinc and castor oil
*leaving it alone
And am now using Bephanen(sp)

None of that seems to be working so we have a doctors appointment this morning

If it is weepy i would say take him to the doctors as it could become infected

whenever willow has nappy rash like tis i use metinithum(something like that) and within a day or 2 it has gone.
