nappy trouble..........

ok i finished my pack of size 1's and as leland now weighs 10lb i thought id be ok to use the size 2 , which i have like 4 packs of but ive now had 2 leaky nappies after poo , and one leaked over night ( try not to change at 2 am feed) .

now does this mean huggies size 2 are crap ? ( i love the huggies nappies and the size 1 were perfect)

or is he just a funny shape and not quite big enough for them yet ?


so do i perserve with the few leaky nappies and hope he grows or do i need to change my nappy ? ( please dont say i do as all the packs are open and in nappy stacker)

and if the huggies are gonna be no good what do u recommend ?

I would say tescos have good nappys and I had a few leaky ones but then i do with all brands ive tried.

I think going up a size they still have to grow into them a bit.

I cant say that I ever liked huggies, they leaked all the time. I mainly use pampers, especially for night but I like tesco too. Asda ones are horrid.

we use tescos. ive used pampers in the past and didn't get on with them.

i think your right though, depends on the size of their bums though.

huggies alweays leaked for me on paris and i've tried them with harrison and they leak too. Like others have said tesco nappies or pampers

I loved Huggies too, but once Isaac was on the size2 nappies they didn't seem to 'work' for him so we moved to Pampers, it looks like you may have to change brand

Sounds like he's too small to me! Buy another pack of size 1 then try again!

id try with size 1 again atm, and see if they fit better until hes a little bit bigger

I had huggies with Aaron and they leaked so changed to pampers, have never had a leak since.

thanks girls , this so teaches u not to stock up on nappies my lil tesco doesnt do there size 1 or 2 nappies so shall grab a pack of pampers and see how i get on .

We're using the Huggies newborn and they're fine. We're also using Pampers size 2 aswell which are huge on Ella but no leakages. I prefer Pampers though.

just brought a pack of pampers size 2 , but they seem so thin compared to the comfy huggies !

i tried pampers and huggies which all leaked, im on asdas own now and touch wood havent had a wet one for weeks, i always ahve to make sure te winkey is pointing down aswell or he ends up drenched

Do they look like they fit him properly? You can't always go by the weight because all babies are different shapes. I have never had a problem with Huggies. I use Huggies or Pampers if they are on offer but if not I just use the own brand nappies. Everyone will have different views on nappies so you are best off buying a few different brands to see which you prefer.

I always use huggies, and now on size 3 nearly a 4 and they have never leaked for me, didnt like pampers, not stretchy enough.
Im gonna get some tesco ones though now and try them too
