nappy rash!

hi ladies,

just wondering if any of u can suggest smething to use on iains bum as his nappy rash is getting worse.

we use sudocream as his everyday barrier but stil got the rash we've also tried vasaline anyone got any other suggestions as to what i can try as it looks really firey

When Stanley has really bad nappy rash I use Metanium cream

It's yellow and pretty 'chemically' but it is FABULOUS and dries it up straight away.

Try some salt in his bath too.

salt in the bath is great by the timeyou left himout you will see it dissapearing

I agree with Minxy too
Isaac's not really had nappy rash, just the odd reddish area that looked potentially sore, so used Metanium a few times and its brilliant, it works so well because it doesnt soak into LO's skin, but creates a protective barrier so the skin can heal itself, I hope his rash clears up real soon

I've also heard friends swear by Drapolene cream. Think it's been around for years, but seems to be really good .

Defintely metanium, stephen had a sore bum a while ago and nothing would heal it - then i got metanuim and it was gone shortly afterwards.

the stuff you are using right now are only barrier creams and won't do anyything but make the rash worse .
Go to the cheist and get some canesten. Tell the pharmasist what its for and he will give you the right stuff.
if you don't want to pay go to the doctors.

caneston will clear it up withing hours i can asssure you.
