Mystery bruise

On my inner leg just above my knee. At the risk of sounding dim, is this just a bruise (seems a weird place to get one) or is it the start of a varicose vein? It's been there 6 days and changed colour from blue to yellowish.

Just sounds like a bruise if its turned yellowish. Will probably be gone in a couple of days.
Would be a bit of a strange place or varicose vein as well i think.

Thanks dear. Doesn't help that my MIL started ranting about how I cross my legs too much and how it causes varicose veins xx

Good plan! We got a bigger bed this week to house my pillow and have a lovely big gulf between us so I can sprawl out and snore and snort. Bliss lol xx
