My tongues gone all furry

theres like a thick layerm of white one it and its freaking me out, ive been eatng normally for bout 3 days now and there seems to be a small lump just infront of my piercing, do you think its infected? or maybe ive been putting too much salt in the salt water

over use of mouth wash causes your tounge to go white hun could it be that?

the lump could be dead skin, i saw some one with a white lumpy tounge on another website and it was just a little tag of skin

not been using mouth wash just salt water, i was thinking it had too much salt as my mouth always feels dry, maybe its that, also its still very swollen, i just want it to go down for when i have the bar changed

Hey,

if you have recently had your tongue pierced, the fur means that you are dehidrated and you need to drink plenty of water to get the swelling down, otherwise they wont change the bar...i kno its a pain in the bum but its best for it to be as healed as poss before the new bar goes in,

hope this helps, and the bump is pretty normal too lots of people get it and it should go away when ur piercing is fully healed,

as for the salt... it only needs to pe a pinch in boiling hot water( wait for it to cool before rinsing )
