My nappies

I've just started building up my stash (very quickly!) and fancied showing it off! Tomorrow will be our first day using cloth full time.

I've also got 2 bumgenius, 1 AIO lilac itti and a cupcake cushie on the way (got to love preloved nappies!) and hopefully 2 more ittis in lime and ivory as well.

I've also made my own liners and once I've brought some more fleece I'm going to make my own wipes. So hopefully I can start saving some money on bloomin nappies and baby wipes!

Love your stash!! I must get Ethan wearing cloth again i just couldn't be doing with all that poop! But now there not so runny so should be easier (tmi!) Lol. xx

Honestly, fleece liners have been my saviour! I used the disposable liners and the poo just went all over the nappy but with the fleece I just plop it in the loo then wash the fleece and none of it goes on the nappy! Like magic

Have to say, Ive heard great things about the BG flip, and Ive usd it once and it leaked Ill try it a few more times but sadly disappointed thus far.

Toon - its highly satisfying seeing all the nappies laid out Its wash day tomorrow...get to hang them all out Its the small things that amuse me.

Mel how the hell do you get them dry in this weather - dry them indoors?

I have only tried cushie tushies - they are fab! I have some fleece liners too - i just got a lil lazy

I went the laundrette today so part dryed them and put them on the clothes maid to finish Cant wait for the summer so I can put them on the line!

I have a cushie tushie on the way, Im hoping I get it tomorrow Im deffinatly a fan of all in ones. Although little lambs are going to become the night nappy I reckon. They look bomb proof!

I live my bumgenius cos they do a fab job! For prettiness I have my wee notions. Love my stash but I think it's getting a little excessive. And I love making my own arse wash too. I fill a bottle with baby bath, lavender, camomile and water and it gets rid if the mist hideous skid lol

Ooo I might try that arse wash lol. I wiped her bum with the fleece liner she had on the nappy and it took all the poop off! I was impressed.

God how sad is that. Im actually impressed by how well something cleans poop off a bum.

I haven't looked at wee notions. Huuumm might have to take a peek. I have a bumgenius pocket and aio and I like them. I think its just prefolds that arent working for us. I got some terry nappies to try out too. I think my stash may become excessive soon too.

Yea I like the pocket weenotions best. And bg wraps are my fave too. They go over other makes too and I put them over bamboozles stretchy's cos they're dead squishy lol. I'm such a saddo lol x

Am just the same, re small things.

I've tried and tested a few makes of real nappy and have got some in for this currently-baking baby. OH said yesterday, I'd not see him changing any complicated cloth nappies. Well nyer because I prefer them. In fact, I'm going to have a peek at one now! I picked up some tots bots all in one thingies (didn't try those before).

I took the one nappy I opened downstairs with me last night and demonstrated it to OH - and said I heard what he said but that I prefer these and am happy to show him how easy they are (these are one-piece ones) and that I'm still planning on having a few of the eco-disposables around for the odd time (we do a lot of festivals and hippy gatherings where it is damned hard to keep washing the reusables and still have time for activities and such) and he seemed to soften over it.
