She started sitting at 5.5 months, crawled at 7 months, climbed the stairs both up and down at 7 months, has been cruising the furniture, walls etc from 7.5 months and last week started letting go of things and standing unaided but no attempt to walk.

She will be 1 in two weeks. So she's been doing pretty much everything bar walking for 5 months!!! Yet she won't take a step.

She will walk holding her pram, one of our hands (ish she's a bit unstable) and walks okay holding both hands.

When she walks holding onto something ( her pram, us etc) her steps seem over the top and you can tell she would fall if she had no support.

Should I be worried she's made no progress now in 5 months?

No. Our daughter was very late even bearing weight on her legs (17 months) and didn't walk until 19 months old. But a friend of ours, her daughter was doing what your LO is doing at around the same time and didn't walk unaided until 19 months either! My son was standing at 10/11 months and started cruising a month later and now at 15 months is still doing exactly the same thing. I'm not worried at all.

Babues develop differently, your LO is still young so give them some time, ding worry about it.

She is not even 1????????? Even one is still considered on the early side for walking.
Amelie walk at 15 m. She was sitting at 6 m crushing furniture at 7 m, crawled at 10.5 m
She is going to get there believe me you will wonder what were you worrying in a while. To not mention the headache that you will have chasing her all around literally all day long,...

My LO is 11 month and is the same. Everyone said she would walk early, but she's just not interested in letting go. She's on her feet all day. She will use her pram to get her somewhere, then transfer to another toy to walk somewhere else. My older two walked within weeks of turning 1, I think Emma will be he same even though she was cruising much sooner than they did.

I think I was or are more worried that it's been 5 months since she learnt to crawl. Most if my friends lo's started walking within 3 months of crawling.

I'm just glad I don't have to worry lol x x is worry enough

Milestones happen at different rates. My little one was 5 months when she sat. 9 months doing the bum shufffle 13 months cruising 15 months crawling and18 months i dependant walking

We had six months between crawling and walking unaided. I thought that was the norm regardless of what age it happened at.

She gets about by crawling so she's probably not interested in walking just yet.. Why should she need to walk if she can crawl that's what I think! If she's cruising the furniture etc then she will learn to let go and walk in her own time :)

My LO took 8 months to go from crawling to first few steps which only happened last week and she still cruises 95% of time (she is 14 months) I wouldn't worry about it x

One is still early - my little boy was walking with a walker at 6 months, took his first independent steps at 10 months but didn't "walk" till just before his 1st birthday.
One day it will just click and LO will be running before you know it!

Ohhhh thank you everyone!!

You've settled my mind completely. I need to stop comparing her to others and let her be :)

I'm excited about her walking but I feel life is easier with her crawling.
I had convinced myself something was wrong x x x
