Bit late posting but my little man Theo Alexander was born by c section on 10th Nov at 36+4 weeks weighing 7lb 3oz. He didn't need any special care although he is a little jaundice.
I call him our miracle baby after everything we went through early in the pregnancy in a nutshell - was twins, one didn't develop yet Theo pumped blood to it so it kept growing left untreated he may have died from heart failure before reaching anywhere near term. Specialist operated to cut blood supply - successful, then told may be brain damage as a result so had to have MRI scan at 28 weeks - all came back fine.
We are in the process of complaining to our original hospital who failed to pick up on this first time and regarding the sonographers who said both babies had abnormalities and we would prob have to end the pregnancy.
After the most traumatic 8mths I can not believe my baby boy is here.
