Hooray!

The consultant was happy with how my episiotomy is healing and doesn't think it will see any lasting damage.

I am very pleased about it, though she asked me if I was having sex?!?! Wtf, I snorted when she said that. I am to leave it 8 weeks apparently lol, more like 8 months

Brilliant news Torino , now you can get back to normal X

Hahahaha it will be about 8 months for me too I think. Glad it's healing sweetie, I was convinced that labour would be less trouble to heal than a c-section until I've read what you've been through.

IF and when you have another LO would you labour again or ask for c-section? xxxxxxxxx

I spoke to mw about it and she said as baby got stuck there's a chance id be offered a section.

Or at the very least they would closely monitor me to see how big the baby is and what position it is in

I'd go for c-section again definitely. Yeah you have to take it easy and not being able to drive is a pain but the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy made me really scared of labour even though I was desperate to give birth. I don't ever want to be in that much constant pain again.

They even play music in the theatre lol, we had Elvis - A little less conversation playing when Albert was born :D

Yeah, they had Adele playing in theatre when Tilly was born. It was all very surreal in there I thought.

I don't know if I would opt for a section if it wasn't recommended strongly. The thought of the surgery and recovery terrifies me.

The little cut to my gooch has been bad enough to heal and that's tiny in comparison. It must be very painful to have a section.

I know it's different for everyone but I have healed really well. The only thing I am struggling with is the hormonal dump. I spoke to the mw about it yesterday and she said that with labour your body knows it's not going to be pregnant any more whereas with a c-section one minute you are pregnant the next you aint. It's a huge shock to the system and I have either been in tears or contemplating killing my MIL just about every day. Albert only a few weeks old and he can't stand her either lol

I had an epis and no sex yet! Terrifying prospect!

Love the word gooch! haha! glad all went well! x

i am seeing doc this week........to find out the crack on my crack (so to speak)...lol

it's very sore again....i have had a look. but to be honest, it all looks so different down there now since the birth i don't know whether it looks normal or not!! ha ha...or if it's healing correctly. but i know it's fecking sore...8 weeks on!!!

The piles are back with their mates too....

if it's still not a vast imrovement by the time i see gp and if she says it's not doing amazing things, then i will be going private and seeing the gynae specialist...i need sorted..

xx
