we came home last night after spending the weekend with the In-Laws to find Squonk laying at the bottom of the bio-orb

very sad just before xmas, and now Chester is all alone!!!

thats what i thought... i told OH that he was just sleepy, but when he got the fish net out and pulled him out of the tank, there was no flapping around like normal, so he flushed him to the big aquarium in the sky!

edit: this just reminded me, 2 christmases ago my hamster died
i went to get her out on xmas day and give her her xmas present (hanging seed gnaw thing) and she was dead!
