My first question - gunky eye?

Hello everyone. First question in here since becoming a first time mummy yesterday morning. Since the birth of my boy, he has had a gunky eye. The other eye is fine. Anyone else had this? Does it go away by itself? I'm still waiting on first visit from midwife.xx

I had this with ethan. I just bathed his eye regularly in cooled boiled water with a wee bit of salt. Just making sure I wiped inside to out. The midwife to

ld me to take him to docs for swabs but it cleared up the next day and hasn't come back. Hope this helps x

Lexi had this too, we just bathed it in cold boiled water and it cleared up x x

A few drops of breast milk will sort it out. We had this a few times in the early weeks and breast milk always cleared it up overnight x
