My first maternity trousers

I wore maternity trousers for the first time today ....the sort with stretchy bits above the pockets. They were really comfy when I put them on but when I got to work they had relaxed a bit so I've been having to hold up my trousers all day today

Fortunately they have belt loops so I can use a belt with them in future and let it out as I 'grow' during the day. I must say, they are sooo comfy now that my tummy has got it's evening bloatiness.

....by the way, just discovered the joys of chocolate ice cream without the weight gain guilt

I brought a pair in the charity shop yesterday. They still are really big at the mo. They were new with a lable. The lable said size 12? I didnt know maternity trousers came in your size (if you get what I mean). If you were a size 10 to begin with is this the size maternity trousers you would buy all the way through the pregnancy. I am aware that this sounds like a really daft question

I think that's right Siany.....you keep wearing your pre-pregnancy size. I've bought the same size and there's plenty of room to grow. I guess you may have to go up a size if you get really big towards the end. I'm glad I've got them this early as they are a lot more comfortable than my regular trousers already.

tehe thats funny, i wear my maternity jeans at home their really nice and comfy and my tum can hang free without having to undo buttons etc...

The belt helps to hold them on my hips otherwise they fall off, that would be embarssing now wouldnt it?
