my doctor appointment

So, saw my GP this morning. I came off the pill almost one year
ago and my cycle has been a bit haywire... its 86 days since AF! Dr. was so lovely. Has sent me for full blood test: cd21, progesterone, testosterone, serum FSH / LH prolactin and also thyroid and liver function. He said as my cycle is so long, the cd21 may nkt show anything up as we would have no idea when I ovulate. However, I started doing OPK and it showed a strong surge last sunday so he said we would use that as a guide so to get my bloods done asap. So, went straight to the hospital. Have to go back to see him in two weeks to discuss the results, and depending on those he will refer me to a gynacologist. So, I feel alot of relief now that the ball is rolling

Thank you all very much! I think Im quite lucky to have gotten a supportive d
octor. Sounds like he will do whatever is needed including the referral if needs be. Just need to wait the couple of weeks now for the results to cone back and see how it goes from there. Fingers and toes crossed

Brilliant news.
Sounds like a lovely doctor! A lot better than how I'd be treated, I'd have my blood test about 4 weeks after I would actually be referred to one. Madness!
