My Camera's Broke

Its a Samsung Digimax S700 & I Had It For Xmas... I Used It About 3 Times But Then It Broke. I havnt Bothered Taking It Back Coz I Lost The Receipt So Im Hoping I Can Get It Fixed At An Electrical Store Or Something? It Comes On, Then Beeps Three Times & Goes Straight Off.. From What I Can See Its a Fault With The Lense Being Jammed. I Really Want It Fixed Before The Baby Arrives

oh my sons did this and i took it in and the guy at the shop said it would be cheaper to buy a new one, have you accidently dropped it? if so or if its had a bang then its the pin or pins inside the lense or summat he said.

when you go to get it fixed, go to several diff places, cos some places tr and rip you off.
my dad had a well good camera and it had a fault and one place.
said its cosover £140 to fix

I had a samsung s500 and it started doin this
so i got Kodak easy share v803 for £99 in boots and i love it

It might sound silly, but have you checked the batteries. Mine bleeps and goes off like that if I use regular batteries, or the super strength camera batteries are running low. Somebody on here pointed it out to me a couple of years ago because I thought it was broken and asked advice on a new one.

I First Thought It Was The Batteries So I Went & Bought a Recharger With 6 Batteries That Cost Me £15... But Nothing Changed It Was Still The Lense Coz It Doesnt Come Out. The Annoying Thing Is That I Havnt Dropped Or Banged It Once. I Didnt Realize How Expensive It Would Be To Get It Fixed How Disappointing
