my "bits" are so swollen i can hardly sit down :(

for the past week my lady bits inside have been sooo swollen i can hardly sit down and nothing seems to help i sit here most days with a cold flannel there but i cant do that if people are round or i go out lol.
anyone know how i can get them to be less swollen as its really painfull and sore aswell, im willing to try most things
also will it be like this forever now till baby comes?

i had this the other week, lie on your left side and get the baby to move, its possibly lying on your vein and making blood pool in your bits.

i know the feeling i resorted to sitting on a ice pack but wasnt helping me where i have piercings down there the holes getting really stretched and causing loads more pain.

it does go again hunni, but i know its such a horrible feeling

I think a bit of swelling is normal at this stage but if its uncomfortable to sit down I think I would seek medical advice. Perhaps give the MW a call..failing that, buy a rubber ring!

It sounds similar to something two of my friends had - varicose veins in their lady bits. I think it is caused by the pressure of the baby, like Paradysso said. Poor you, have some hugs

hunni go buy some witch hazel too from a chemist and apply it with cotton wool, its really cooling and reduces swelling quite quickly

ooo il pick some up when i go to the shops tomorrow will have to get hubby to apply it for me as i cant touch cotton wool!!!!

Oh, sounds sore. What about those gel pads from Mothercare that I saw on another thread? Meant to be for after birth but might help you:

had an hours lie down and i think its helped a little bit am sat on a pillow at the moment lol

im with you all the way
one of the reasons I am off work !
I've got veins down there and they get so swollen and painful.
Doc has prescribed anusol for back one s but like the girls say it is do with the way baby is lying. Warm baths help as does getting circulation going with some stretches.
I also looked up some support pants on internet, you can get something called a fembrace, I will send you the link, I have not tried them yet but my doc is getting me a pair on prescription.
I have heard they go after the baby is born
