....I only ordered it yesterday off ebay, cost just over £25.00 inc the gel and it has arrived already.

I'm so excited to use it but i'm gonna wait till OH comes home tonight and we'll use it together. Oh wow i cant wait, hope we get to hear our baby

How many weeks were you when you first heard heartbeat on your doppler?

xxxxxxx

I was 15 weeks when I first found mine but I think I'd been searching too high before.

If you start right at the bottom....literally just above your pubic bone, in the middle and work your way up very slowly you should be able to find it. Another good tip I found is to hold the doppler flat.... I tried angleing it but I lost the beat then.

for the first few days after I first found mine i actually bruised my pubic bone it was that low down and I was using it so much!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good luck and hope you get to hear your little bubs

I got my Angelsounds Doppler about 2 weeks ago i think, so would have been about 15/16weeks - found heartbeat everytime and have dont since!! i love it - best thing i have ever bought, let OH's parents and mine hear it other day and they loved it!! :cheer:

Oh how exciting i can remember when mine arrived and had to sit and wait for OH, it was sooooo hard to do.

I heard baby moving around from when i got my doppler at about 12weeks but didn't pick up a heartbeat until 14weeks, and then i was confused about the heartbeat and the placenta.

iwas extreamly lucky, and after looking for ages and ages, i found it at 9weeks 4days..

listen to him/her everyday now hehe, lil routine..

babywill still be quite low, so as people have said start low, and move around really slow xxx good luck babe, let us know how u geton..

AND DONT WORRY IF YOU CANT FIND IF, BECAUSE BUBS IS FINE!!XXXX

Thanks girls

Only 2 hours or so till i get to use it. OH rang and said i think i'll mow the lawn when i get in  Noooooooo dont make me wait even longer thats not fair :rotfl:

Those dopplers are the best. I found mine about 10 weeks i think (it was before my scan i know that). My baby hasnt really moved, its far down on the right just above the pubic bone. Definately start trying to find it really low down.

I must say i do get a bit carried away listening to my heartbeat, babies heartbeat, the swooshing of the placenta, the swooshing of my bowels! lol

we didnt hear our little one until about 15-16 weeks & even then i was sure it was hiding behind my pubic hair  well maybe not that low but was near enough!! start really low when looking.... most of the time we still hear the heartbeat really low down even at 22 weeks. have fun. x

tell him if he wants to mow the lawn..

then you'll listen to bubs now hehe..

its amazin, if u dont find it dont worry tho..

i find.. lying down flat with pillow upder my head (or a few) helps..

try having a little to drink (so you need a wee) it helps me.

and like i said low down and move slow, lots of gel hehe..

good luck babe, let us know how u get on xxx

Aww it's lovely having a doppler! Also scary at times, so if you can't hear bubs at first, stay calm and keeping listening around. You'll hear bubbly noises which will be where he/she is moving and it's causing all the amniotic fluid swishing around, the placenta, there is so much you can hear!

And even if you're not feeling baby kick, you might hear some banging which is usually baby moving around and the doppler getting the brunt of baby's annoyance (or just plain ol' showing off!)

Hope bubs is good tonight and lets you hear their heartbeat :D It'll be an amazing experience for you both

(I was 16 weeks by the way, that was only because I'm a terrible worry worry and I know I'd have panicked if I couldn't hear it).

xxx
