My 4yr old has stopped eating

He's always had a healthy appetite but at the wknd he started 'hockin' when he swallowed then since Monday has gradually refused more and more food til he's only eatin tomato soup,yoghurt and ice cream. He'l start to eat and then spit it out,even food he likes. He's just spat a biscuit all over and really don't know wot I can do to encourage him to eat. He's off to the docs later to see if it's a sore throat etc but apart from not eatin he's fine xx

I have no expereince of a greta big 4 yuear old but this sounds pretty stressful and wanted to reply. Maybe he gagged a bit and now is a bit scared of chunky bits as he's eating more liquid things ok? Hope you manage to make some progress....
