mw app

had an app with my mw today, she took blood to do the downs test as our council dont do the nunchal screening and she listened in and actually found the hb. said all is well and ive lost 2kg since last mw weighed me at 8 weeks or so lol.

oh good going My lot dont do the Neuchal either so having my bloods next week too

yeah, no more appointments now til im over 20 weeks so 5 weeks without being poked, prodded and pricked with needles lol

God iv had nothing done to me, no prodding r anything just 1 blood test and a scan and nothing till 2 weeks

Other than bloods what else do they do at 16 week appointment I've just booked mine x

I had what was ment to be my 16 week app along with my 12 week, dont ask its a long messy story lol

I met with a consultant who told me the date my baby was due, which i already knew, asked if I had any questions which i didnt as i was caught off guard he then spent about 10 minutes discussing how much he liked my tattoo and how fanicated he was that he noticed my husband had the same watch as him which then lead to a lenghty conversation between them about watches and satelites!!!!

she weighed me as she needed a weight to go with the downs blood test sample, did the usual bp and urine analysis, then checked the HB of babs and asked if i had any questions and booked the next app. i got the results of the previous blood tests for rubella antibodies and hiv etc, all good and that was it really

See I never got the results of the bloods does that just mean they were all fine n didnt bother to tell me ?

Ok that's pretty uneventful !! I don't know what I expected lol
Hugsy that doesn't sound like a great appointment although I do like talking tattoos lol if you haven't had results don't worry they must all be fine

I'm pretty sure that means they're all ok, I think if there's a problem they phone you to let you know. But if you want to make absolutely sure, maybe give your MW a ring and ask.
