....how do you manage to change their bums or get them dressed while staying calm cos I'm finding it very hard!!
As soon as charley's on his back he rolls straight over and crawls off so I'll get him back and he'll have a hissy fit! I've tried counting to get his attention, worked for a day and now doesn't work, I give him something to play with, he puts it down then fights to roll over!
It's getting to the point where I shouted at him earlier and he giggled or just has a massive tantrum!!

oh god, thought it was only me. getting marley dressed is a nightmare... i literally end up sweating, no joke! and napply changes especially poo ones are DANGEROUS!!! if OH is home i get him to literally pin him down and he thinks its hilarious!!!! ive lost my patience with him so many times lol! its a nightmare!!!!!! i dont think theres any solution tho!?!? lol. xo

I'm glad I'm not alone!! It's getting to the point I'm loosing my temper but I don't want too!! He's such a wiggler!! x x

Isla has only just started rolling when she wants so I'm new to mobile babies! I've started dressing her sat up or stood up, I'm thankful her poop is "adult" in it's nature lol

i feel bad for losing my temper too, its a nightmare! ive tried doing it sat up too but he arches his back and throws himself everywhere! hes just had his bath now and i feel exhausted after a 10 minute battle to dress him!!!! lol.

C's exactly the same! The only way I can get him to keep still is to be more entertaining than whAtever it is he wants to escape to, cue silly faces, silly songs, funny noises, lots of tickling, I even have a nappy on my head sometimes! Seems to work tho, getting dressed and having a nappy change just needs to fun I guess!

Zac is an absolute nightmare getting dressed or getting his nappy changed! He won't lie still for a second! I have to try and distract him with something and get super quick at nappy changing. So easy to get annoyed, I just try and tell myself it's nit his fault, he doesn't understand xxx

I've just LOL'ed at the nappy on head!!
I can't remember lace ever being a wriggler, I just remember having to learn to do nappy changes while she was standing up! Not looking forward to that!!

ooh i hate this! mid nappy change with a pooey bum he flipped over and i ended up with a turd on my carpet! looked like a dog had shat on it! was not happy having to pick it up with a nappy sack over my hand like a dog poop bag lmao! no tips on how to stop though, my songs dont seem to do the trick!

Tegan rolls over and army crawls away! i give her something different to play with every Nappy change But she still tries to escape! x

The worst bit is when they stick their hands down there as soon as the nappy is off... Queue poopy fingers!!! Ewwww!

Singing sometimes works for me..other than that i have to call the dog sometimes. He loves watching the dog walk about lol

Ive given in and change her standing up. :/ I even have to wipe her bum standing up sometimes. Its not fun.

Omg Emma, charley's the same! It's as if they have to check to make sure their willies are still there! Lol!
Charley can't stand up yet but the amount of times I try wiping his bum when he's on his tummy trying to crawl away!!

hahah poopy fingers!!!! this has become part of our daily routine now!!!! lol

Amelia just learnt to crawl the last couple of weeks and now she's really fast, as soon as the nappys off she rolls over and crawls off but now I've invested in pull-ups, nappy changing time is much less stressful :)

Pull ups sound easier, I haven't figured out how to get a nappy on him standing up lol!

... i didnt even think of pull ups!! durr. ... what size do they start doing them from as i always associated them with babies of a year and over iygwim!

Oh god yes, Im really starting to dread nappy changes cos it always end up with me stressed and him tantruming cos he wants to be anywhere except on his back onthe changing mat

Pullups might be a good idea. are they available in size 4?

Pampers easy ups rock!! Dunno what size they start at tho, I've only ever bought 5s! My tip for the top, sit on the floor, baby between your legs and pin them down with your legs! Sounds brutal but needs must! Es a sturdy little thing now so I can be a bit more forceful with her, but she was a nightmare as a baby! I've now got her in pull ups at 18 months and she refuses to wear nappies! Infact, clothes in general ate a no no as she can take them all off  thank god for laminate, mops and a living room at the back of the house! Her 2 1/2 year old sister however, refuses to wear pull ups and can only take off bottom half clothes!

They do them from size 4 I think, we're using huggies ones they're brill. You just put their legs in them and pull them up :) and when you want to take them off you take them off like a normal nappy. We use them during the day and huggies normal nappies for bedtime.
