Mucus plug? Or just getting my hopes up!

I'm 37+2, last night I was getting mild braxton hicks on and off for about an hour. When I woke up this morning and went to the loo, my pad was covered in (sorry tmi) snotty discharge, then when I wiped the tissue was covered. Went to the loo again just now and it's like stringy snot... How lovely I know! The things we have to go through! This is my second baby, I remember my last pregnancy when I lost my plug it came out as a whole I think! Just have to wait and see I guess. Yuck!

I've been slowly losing my plug over the past couple of weeks too. And yep, snotty. I'm a second time mum too, and with my ds I lost it all in one go the day before my contractions started.

My whole plug went on Thursday morning after a few hours of mild contractions and a sweep on Monday. Since then having runs of mild contractions but nothing getting started up properly. Driving me mad too, as thought that was it on Thursday. I know there's at least one other October mummy too with this. We're all second time mums so traditionally, having a show means you're very close.
