moving ur baby to a cot??

Hoya, I got one in a random baby shop, but try places like mother care etc, or the big super markets.
For your bed, go on Argos. Com, and look up 127/1027, that was the number in the summer catalogue and doubt would have changed. I'm pretty sure that's what we had on our bed- also didn't want waters gushing all over the bed lol.
Hope that helps Hun x

Emily is in her own room now and has been for a good few weeks. We still have her in her moses basket in the cot to get her used to the room. We will be taking her out of it this weekend I think and just having her in the cot. I spoke to my GP about it at her 6 week check and even he said 6 months is too long! x

Yep, she settled really well! She sleeps so much better in her own room! We also got one of those things that makes patterns on the cielings and plays music (think it called dreamshow? got it from asda for 12 quid) for when she first went in so it was something nice for her and now she falls asleep with that on every night! Its so nice for them just to watch it and listen to the soothing music while they fall asleep.

Bet Finn will sleep lots better in his own room :)

we have a spacious 2 double bedroom apartment so our kingsize bed, wardrobes and Riley's cot all fit in with a bit of space :O lol. Riley grew out of his cradle at 2 month :O mammoth babieeess! he should be going in his own room about 6 month but i think i will miss him, i'm very needy, lol!! xxx

silly question prob - but can they not go straight in a cot? i wasnt gonna get a moses basket because i dont see much point, ive got a carrycot on pushchair so can be in that or ill just borrow a moses basket, but was gonna make use of cot straight away if thats ok? i have a swaddle blanket for the comfort thing, x

i am sooooooooooo glad u asked this... cos i havnt got a moses basket nor planning to get one.... my mum n OHs mum put us into cots from day one.. i just wasnt sure if things had changed and if i needed one, iv got a bouncer thingy for downstairs and a rocking chair to sit and feed in babys room so dont think im gona get a moses basket, but think im gona get some of those swaddley things, and they look cute in there too :)

xxx

Annabelle will have to go into her own room before 6 months as shes already nearly outgrown her moses. i have loved having her moses though she loves sleeping in there and sleeps better in there than anywhere else. also i take it with me if she sleeps at my mums or my bestfriends so its always the same bedtime for her. i dont disturb her i dont think (from what i can tell) so i will really miss her when she goes into her own room :( lol
